Pacer International said its 1,700 employees have raised $34,126 for humanitarian relief efforts in response to the hurricane devastation experienced during recent weeks in the Gulf of Mexico region.

The North American freight and logistics provider contributed an additional $34,250, resulting in a combined contribution from Pacer and its employees of $68,376 to the American Red Cross for hurricane relief.
