Danny Herman Trucking has announced its third driver pay increase in the last 16 months. Under the new plan, experienced drivers’ base rates can be 2 to 3 cents per mile higher.
Two layers of incentive pay reward company drivers and owner-operators who reach mileage thresholds. Incentive pay can range from 2 to 8 cents per mile and is figured for all miles run each month and each quarter.
Company drivers now can earn between 38 and 50 cents per mile, and owner-operators can earn between 89 and 98 cents per mile, plus a 100 percent fuel surcharge.
