Xata elects CEO to become board chairman

Xata Corp. announced it has elected its chief executive officer to become chairman of the board.

The maker of fleet-tracking software and equipment said Tuesday, Nov. 8 that Craig Fawcett, the current CEO, will replace Stephen Lawrence, the chairman and CEO of Lawrence Transportation.

Lawrence will continue to serve as a Xata director and sit on Xata’s audit committee.
