The U.S. plaza at the Peace Bridge connecting Buffalo, N.Y., and Fort Erie, Ontario, has been upgraded and now is processing truck traffic more efficiently.

The $4.3 million improvement project sped up truck traffic from opening day Nov. 8, says David Bradley, Canadian Trucking Association chief executive officer.

The U.S. plaza has three new truck inspection lanes and three new motorist inspection booths, as well as a reconfigured traffic pattern.
