The Florida Trucking Association recently recognized Coastal Transport’s Mike Wissinger as its Driver of the Month for December 2005. Wissinger, who is based at Coastal Transport’s terminal in Jacksonville, will be in the running for the state’s Driver of the Year honor, to be presented at the annual Florida Trucking Association banquet on Thursday, Jan. 19.
“Coastal Transport congratulates Mike on this accomplishment, and we wish him well as he competes for Driver of the Year,” says Harry Crabtree, vice president of safety, capacity development and human resources. “We are all proud of him and know him as a driver of the highest caliber.”
Coastal Transport, part of Comcar Industries, is based in Savannah, Ga.
