Great American Trucking Family contest entries due May 1

Truckers News is looking for a family with deep roots in trucking. The Great American Trucking Family contest rewards one family each year whose family tree has produced a bountiful crop of truckers, past and present. If your family history is alive with men and women who drive – or used to drive – big rigs for a living, you could be the winning family.

This August the Truckers News cover story will be about the winning family, and the cover itself will be a family portrait photograph. Members of the winning family will be flown to Dallas for the Aug. 24-26 Great American Trucking Show, where they’ll have a night to remember at one of the city’s most famous restaurants, help judge the Pride and Polish event at the show, be a VIP at show events and be presented with the award onstage at a sold-out country music concert.

Industry honors and community involvement will be part of the judging criteria. Entries must be postmarked or e-mailed by Monday, May 1 to Executive Editor John Latta at [email protected].
