Grinding work on I-5 in Oregon continues

Maintenance work on Interstate 5 near Myrtle Creek, Ore., will continue through Friday, Jan. 27. Crews will grind the road surface to provide better traction, and the work occasionally will limit available roadway width.

When crews are working in the northbound right lanes, variable message crews will direct all overwidth loads off I-5 at Exit 106, Weaver Road. Expect delays as much as 30 minutes.

When crews are working in the southbound right lanes, overwidth loads will be directed off I-5 at Exit 110, Boomer Hill Road. Again, expect delays as much as 30 minutes.
