SiriCOMM, an applications service provider and nationwide broadband wireless network operator serving the highway transportation industry, announced that three new fleet partners have joined Fleet InTouch.

The direct marketing program utilizes truck fleet operators to advertise InTouch subscriptions to drivers. InTouch provides practical Internet access for truck drivers as well as a cost-efficient method for small truck fleets to communicate with its drivers. Truck fleets recently added to the marketing program include:

  • Gully Transportation, a Quincy, Ill.-based truckload carrier that operates more than 200 power units from 10 terminals located throughout the United States.
  • D&D Sexton, a common/contract refrigerated carrier based in Carthage, Mo. that operats 130 tractors and 200 reefer trailers.
  • Christenson Transportation, a truckload carrier with more than 100 power units serving the contiguous 48 states and the central and western provinces of Canada. Christensen is based in Springfield, Mo. and operates a terminal in Nashville, Tenn.
  • “We are excited to have these fleets join Fleet InTouch,” said David Mendez, executive vice president of sales and marketing for Joplin, Mo.-based SiriCOMM. “Our marketing outreach continues to grow as more and more truck fleets join the program. We believe that Fleet InTouch will extend our reach across the small fleet market, which is the largest segment of the trucking industry.”

Since launching Fleet InTouch in November 2005, SiriCOMM has announced that 5 truck fleets representing more than 1,700 drivers are participating in the direct marketing program.
