Cummins 9,000 Gallon Giveaway winners named

Brad Willard, who recently was named the U.S. winner of the Cummins 9,000 Gallon Giveaway, is a company driver for H&M Trucking in Clinton, Ill. Willard drives a Peterbilt to haul food grade product, both liquid and dry, in a stainless steel tanker.

In Canada, owner-operator Simon Giguere of St. Hyacinthe, Quebec, Canada, also won 9,000 gallons of diesel fuel. Giguere drives a Peterbilt 379 with a Cummins 2005 ISX 565-hp engine, and he hauls mostly paper products on his aluminum flatbed trailer.

Both were selected in a random drawing at Cummins headquarters Nov. 1. Additionally, five runner-up prizes of $500 fuel cards were awarded, both in the United States and Canada. Runner-up prizes were awarded to Kelly Winters, David Tyree, Ed Harris, Dennis Edelman, Eric Anderson, Sylvain LaLonde, Len Thomsen, Iouiri Kalmykov, Denis Grondin and Simon Choquette.

The giveaway ran between March 31 and Oct. 22. More than 7,000 mail and online entries were received. Any holder of a valid CDL with a valid address was eligible to enter.
