CalArk International has announced a new refrigerated division to serve 48 states with dedicated and longhaul freight. CalArk, which plans to have the division fully operational by this spring, is starting with 135 refrigerated vans and says it will accumulate 75-100 trucks designated for refrigeration.
“The decision to break into the reefer business was mainly brought on by some of our top customers asking for refrigerated equipment,” says Rochelle Gorman, president of Mabelvale, Ark.-based CalArk. “Customer satisfaction and dedication has always been, and always will be, CalArk’s main focus.”
CalArk’s terminals are located in Laredo and Garland, Texas; Hurricane Mills, Tenn.; and Little Rock, Ark.
