A Cleveland suburb has won the “2005 Win a Year’s Lease on a Unimog” promotional drawing held in January. Robert Pech, director of public service for Brecksville, Ohio, was the contest winner.
Along with the use of the Unimog U500, Pech also won a year’s use of as many as three implements that could serve in snow plowing, snow blowing, salt spreading, roadside mowing and street sweeping. More than 1,000 entries were submitted for the promotion.
Tom Fenzl, a Unimog regional sales manager, will work with Pech to get the Unimog running and equipped with the right attachments for each assignment. Parts and service support will be coordinated through Hans Freightliner, the Unimog dealership in Cleveland. Hans Dabernig, president of Hans Freightliner, says that Pech will get full service, including parts, service and training.
Unimog North America is a Freightliner business unit headquartered in Portland, Ore.
