Younger named GM of Carlisle Altec

Carlisle Motion Control Industries recently named John Younger as general manager of its Carlisle Altec division. Altec Brake Systems operates three brake shoe remanufacturing facilities and a distribution warehouse.

Younger brings 30 years of experience in the heavy-duty truck parts industry to his new position. He spent the past 22 years in a variety of positions with $8 billion global systems and components supplier ArvinMeritor, serving most recently as OEM account manager.

Carlisle manufactures and markets heavy-duty, asbestos-free brake linings for Class 6-8 vehicles, as well as Altec remanufactured brake shoes.
