Maverick awards $10,000 in DOT inspection contest

Tommy Jacobs of Hazel Green, Ala. was the winner of Maverick Transportation’s recent Inspection Perfection contest, held throughout 2005.

The contest, aimed at increasing safety and Department of Transportation compliance, gave every driver that received a clean DOT inspection throughout the year a chance at the $10,000 grand prize drawing.

Jacobs has been with Maverick for more than two years.
