Landstar Systems recently recognized 84 independent contractors as Landstar Million Mile Safe Drivers at an awards banquet in Jacksonville, Fla. The truckers have a total of 99 million miles of safe driving among them, according to the carrier.
Landstar also recently named its February Employees of the Month:
Lareese Campbell is February Employee of the Month at the company’s service center in Jacksonville. Campbell, a benefits coordinator in the human resources department, joined Landstar in 2005.
Brad Rothermel is February Employee of the Month at Landstar’s service center in Rockford, Ill. Rothermel, a business capacity owner adviser, joined the company in 1996.
