KempGoldberg, a strategic marketing and communications firm, has announced the launch of new websites for Schneider National and its subsidiary, Schneider Logistics. The sites were redesigned to enhance Schneider’s Internet presence with a contemporary look, enhanced features and new corporate information for the benefit of the company’s customers and associates, as well as providing easily identifiable links to the company’s driver recruitment resources.
Schneider’s new website concludes about 12 months of collaborative research and development between KempGoldberg and the corporate marketing and information technology departments at Schneider. “KempGoldberg was able to translate the needs of a complex and comprehensive transportation services company into an easily navigated, impressive communications tool,” says Tom Nightingale, vice president of corporate marketing for Green Bay, Wis.-based Schneider National. “We’re very impressed with the caliber of work KempGoldberg delivered to us.”
KempGoldberg says it approached the project as an opportunity to completely redesign the company’s website with alluring visual representations and engaging, benefit-oriented descriptions of the company’s wide range of business activities. Additionally, KempGoldberg maintained a strict adherence to the well-known and widely respected Schneider brand. “Identifying Schneider’s Web requirements and meeting those needs was an invited challenge for KempGoldberg,” says Dan Ventura, vice president of creative services for Portland, Maine-based KempGoldberg. “Schneider now leads its industry with the preeminent corporate communication portal on the Internet.”
With the directive to create a widely accessible and user-friendly site, KempGoldberg developed content using Macromedia Shockwave Flash. Among its features is an interactive Schneider National cross-border services demonstration available on the company’s home page, a Web animation that presents information on Schneider’s services. The Web addresses for both Schneider National and Schneider Logistics remain unchanged at www.schneider.com and www.schneiderlogistics.com, respectively.
