Barney Trucking — which specializes in dry bulk hauling of coal, lime, soda ash, gypsum and other materials — has selected Maddocks Systems’ TruckMate for Windows as its new software solution for all trucking operations.
“After a detailed analysis of available trucking software providers, we determined that Maddocks could deliver the best solution to meet the unique needs of our business,” says Trent Anderson, chief financial officer of Barney Trucking. “We plan to leverage the TruckMate application across our entire operation to create one integrated software solution.”
The company operates more than 200 tractors supported by bottom dump and pneumatic twin trailers that are spread across three terminals in Salina and St. George, Utah; and Carlin, Nev. Barney services coal companies in a 24/7 operation that routinely manages more than 450 loads per day.
