Bandag golf outings raise $5,180 for Trucker Buddy International

Truck executives and commercial tire dealers combined a day of fun and fund raising to generate $5,180 for Trucker Buddy International. This is the third consecutive year Bandag has made contributions to Trucker Buddy via the golf outings.

A February golf outing at the Bandag Fleet Executive Symposium in Phoenix was responsible for $2,500 of that contribution. Bandag donated $100 in the name of the fleet executive whose shot was closest to the pin as each foursome played hole 5.

In a second golf outing, for the independent commercial tire dealers attending the Bandag Strategic Alliance Business Conference, an additional $2,680 was donated to Trucker Buddy as the result of mulligan ticket sales to tournament participants. The mulligan ticket sales generated $1,340, but Bandag matched that contribution with an additional $1,340.
