Hendrickson Trailer Suspension Systems says it recently earned certification to ISO/TS16949:2002 Quality Management System (QMS) from Det Norske Veritas Certification (DNV). The certification — which evaluates employees, management, products and services — covers Hendrickson’s Canton, Ohio base and all four manufacturing facilities: Canton; Mitchell, S.D.; Lebanon, Ind.; and Clarksville, Tenn.

Kent Botner, director of quality for Hendrickson Trailer Suspension Systems, congratulated Hendrickson trailer employees who worked together to elevate the company’s quality management system. He also recognized members of the quality excellence team for their efforts and assistance in preparing for the audit process.

Gary Gerstenslager, general manager of Hendrickson Trailer Suspension Systems, lauded the efforts of all trailer employees in performing to the high standards that brought this recognition to the division. “As a leader in the manufacture of air-ride trailer suspension systems, certification validates the industry’s confidence in our products and challenges us to continue to enhance customer satisfaction and refine the effectiveness and efficiency of our manufacturing and business methods,” Gerstenslager says.
