The American Commercial Tire Network, a TRIB member since 2004, has increased its financial contribution to the Tire Retread Information Bureau for its 2006 TRIB dues.
“We are delighted at the continued strong endorsement of TRIB by the members of ACTN,” says Harvey Brodsky, TRIB’s managing director. “Since we have a policy of not disclosing the amount of dues payments TRIB receives from its members, we cannot mention the amount of their contribution for 2006, but suffice to say it is very significant, or in other words, when we opened our mail and saw the amount of their 2006 check, to say it made our day would be an understatement.”
ACTN members include Bell Tire Distributors, Bob Sumerel Tire, Boulevard Tire, Commercial Tire, Cross-Midwest Tire, Custom Bandag, McCarthy Tire, McGriff Tire, Parkhouse Tire, Pete’s Tire Barn, Pomp’s Tire Service, Raben Tire, Redburn Tire, Southern Tire Mart, Snider Tire, Valley Tire and White Tire.
“What makes their contribution even more significant is that many of the members of ACTN already individually support TRIB,” Brodsky says. “Their additional support as a group indicates to us how important they view TRIB’s contribution to the well being of the retread industry, and we appreciate that.”

TRIB recently moved into larger quarters at 591 Lighthouse Ave., Pacific Grove, but its mailing address remains unchanged. “The new, considerably more spacious office will allow TRIB to be more efficient in responding to the overwhelming number of requests for information, guidance and assistance that it receives daily, even on weekends,” Brodsky says.
