Teydo BV, a global supplier in the location-based services market, has opened its new American headquarters in Potomac Falls, Va., less than a year after the company launched its FleetOnline GPS tracking solution in North America. Teydo also announced it has incorporated as a U.S. company, Teydo America.

“We’re quite pleased that Teydo’s commitment to the North American market has succeeded,” says Jaap Groot, chief executive officer of Teydo BV. “With our expanded capabilities in Virginia, we’re well positioned to serve our growing numbers of partners and customers.”

Teydo’s North American operations are run by managing director Rob Groot, who launched FleetOnline in North America in 2005 and has managed the growth of the company in this market. “We chose to expand our North American operation in Loudoun County because it is a great area for growing technology companies and a convenient location for our employees,” he says.
