New Century Transportation, a Westampton, N.J.-based provider of hybrid truckload and LTL services, has named Rich Luhrs senior vice president of corporate development. Luhrs’ duties will include product development, as well as identification and execution of strategic acquisitions.
A former senior vice president at the Shevell Group of Companies, Luhrs was responsible for that group’s dedicated, truckload and third-party logistics companies. Prior to joining the Shevell Group, he served as chief executive officer and partner at Titan Express, a multi-regional direct-delivery LTL motor carrier.
