Toyo increases commercial truck, OTR tire prices

As of Saturday, April 1, the prices of Toyo commercial truck tires will be 5 percent higher, and the price of OTR tires will rise by 7 percent, the company says.

The price increases are due to escalating raw material and transportation costs, according to Toyo.

Nathan Meisgeier, president of Omaha, Nebraska-based Werner Enterprises, said his carrier is committing to hire 1,400 veterans over the coming year as part of the Freedom Haulers initiative.
