Exhibit Management Associates has announced that the 2006 edition of the Mid-America Trucking Show shattered every record for heavy-duty trucking trade shows. Exhibitor participation skyrocketed to 1,144 exhibitors, representing 46 states and 11 foreign countries.

With the new wing of the Kentucky Exposition Center sold out, the show’s total exhibit square footage reached 1 million square feet indoors and 200,000 square feet outdoors. In addition, all previous show attendance records were broken with 80,291 badged attendees from all 50 states and 59 foreign countries. The record-breaking performance, combined with the success expressed by the participating exhibitors, made the show’s 35th anniversary an event to remember, organizers say.

“As more and more companies realize the power and reach of the Mid-America Trucking Show, we expect the show to continue to grow and surpass long-established show records,” says Toby Young, vice president of EMA. “The ever-increasing quality and quantity of our attendees will continue to attract the elite companies in the trucking industry and fuel our growth.”

The 2007 show will be held March 22-24 at the Kentucky Exposition Center in Louisville, Ky.
