Unifi driver named TRALA Driver of the Year

Unifi Inc. truck driver Jerry Brown has been selected as the Truck Renting and Leasing Association’s 2006 Driver of the Year. A Jonesville, N.C., resident, Brown has logged nearly 3 million miles without a single preventable accident over the past 31 years on the road.

Brown received his award, sponsored by Goodyear Tire and Rubber Co., at TRALA’s annual meeting farewell dinner on Friday, March 31 in San Diego. He received an all-expense-paid trip to the event for him and his wife, along with a trophy and a cash prize.
