A&R Transport Inc., a specialized transporter of bulk plastics, opened a new terminal and a 75,000-square-foot secured warehouse in Charleston, S.C., at the beginning of April.
The new terminal is ISO:9001 certified and offers port drayage services; gaylord/super sack packaging and storage; export super sack to bulk truck and rail cars; export lined container tilting for transfer to bulk truck or rail cars; a 24-hour-a-day, seven-day-a-week operating capacity; and rail car transloading to bulk trucks.
A&R Transport is headquartered in Morris, Ill., and has more than 820 employees with 24 terminals in 14 states.
