Dorn to manage Holland’s truck OEM business development

The Holland Group has announced that Doug Dorn has taken on additional responsibilities and assumed the position of manager of truck OEM business development. In this role, Dorn will continue managing sales/marketing activities to his OEM customers in addition to developing sales, marketing and supplier performance strategies for truck OES. He also will be responsible for supporting program implementation in coordination with the truck OEM account management team.

Dorn most recently joined Holland in February 2000 as a national account manager in sales, having previously worked two years for Holland as an account manager. In July 2002, he assumed the position of product marketing manager for Holland’s fifth-wheel PMT. Since June 2004, Dorn has held the position of OEM account manager (truck) for Holland USA sales. Prior to Holland, Dorn held various sales positions with Meritor, West Publishing and Hormel Foods.

The Holland Group designs, manufactures and distributes components, systems and services to the transportation industry, specializing in products for coupling, lifting and suspension systems for trucks, buses, tractors and trailers. These products include fifth wheels, landing gear, air and mechanical suspensions, kingpins, pintle hooks, drawbars, couplers, liftgates and roll-formed components.
