FedEx is donating $1.5 million over the next five years to the United Services Organizations, to support Operation USO Care Package and other USO programs and services. The global transportation and logistics company has been an ongoing supporter of the USO since 2001.

The USO currently operates more than 120 centers throughout the world, providing free e-mail and Internet access, international phone cards, libraries and travel assistance to U.S. military personnel and their families. USO centers in Europe provide support to troops deploying to the Persian Gulf and the wounded returning to the United States for treatment. USO affiliates in the United States provide support to service members as well as their families left behind.
