TMW Systems, developer of enterprise management software for the trucking industry, named David Wangler president and chief executive officer, succeeding Ken Thompson who is retirng. Thompson will continue to serve on the board of directors.
Wangler has more than two decades of experience in the supply chain and manufacturing software field, most recently as president and CEO of Bedford, Mass.-based SupplyWorks, an on-demand enterprise applications business.
“David has earned a solid reputation as a passionate leader and team builder who achieves quantifiable results and exceeds objectives,” said TMW Systems Chairman Tom Weisz. “His extensive knowledge of technology-based solutions and business savvy are a perfect fit for enhancing our leadership position in the trucking technology marketplace.”
