EPA releases model for state idling laws

As a product of five workshops held last year, the Environmental Protection Agency has released a model for a state idling law for consideration by states considering such a measure. EPA emphasized that it is not promulgating any type of regulation regarding vehicle idling and that its role is limited to that of a facilitator to help create more consistent idling laws around the country.
