CarrierWeb has announced the addition of Dick Winkler as vice president of sales for North America. Based out of the Kansas City, Mo. area, Winkler will be responsible for conducting direct sales, as well as building and managing an outside sales force. He has more than 30 years of transportation industry experience, including 15 years of experience in transportation communications.

“We are very pleased about the addition of Dick Winkler to our team.” says John Marous, president of Atlanta-based CarrierWeb. “We look forward to the next year as we roll out our complete product offering for trucks, trailers and yards, as well as the solutions for information management that we feel will create significant return on investment for our customers.”

The company also added George Dunn to its U.S. sales and management team. “George brings to our management team an experience level in both sales and management that we are very excited about as we provide a state-of-the-art solution for inventory tracking and global supply chain management to the transportation industry,” Marous says.
