The World’s Largest Truckstop has widened the gap with an addition that is larger than most truck stops. The new multimillion-dollar Super Truck Showroom at Iowa 80 Truckstop is now open, giving drivers more than 67,000 square feet of chrome, stainless, lights and other trucking accessories to browse.

Three big rigs that sport the latest accessories are also on display in the showroom in order to help drivers visualize how the parts would look on their own truck. These show trucks are main attractions and include a yellow Peterbilt 379 named “Cornpatch Cadillac” and an electric blue Kenworth W900 named “The Blue Ox” that is outfitted as a heavy hauler.

From the top of the showroom steps, drivers are greeted by a red Freightliner Classic tractor-trailer called “America The Beautiful.” A mural depicting the landscape and major landmarks of Interstate 80 from coast to coast now is being painted on the truck’s sleeper and across the entire trailer.

The Super Truck Showroom also features a wall of lights where drivers can see every available light illuminated. In the custom shop, drivers can see their designs come to life through vinyl graphics, custom T-shirts, embroidery and laser engraving.

The third floor has a library, drivers’ den, movie theater, barber shop, dentist’s office and a balcony that overlooks the showroom. Laundry facilities and 23 private showers also are available for truck drivers to use.

Future additions to the Iowa 80 Truckstop include remodeling and expanding the convenience and gift stores and expanding the food court to include Wendy’s, Taco Bell, Pizza Hut Express and Dairy Queen fast-food restaurants.
