Sunco Carriers has named Christopher Lewis as the Owner-Operator of the Quarter for the first quarter of 2006. Lewis, who leased on with the Sunco team in 2001, has a total of 13 years of experience in over-the-road driving. He and his wife, Marlinda, make their home in Hampton, Ga. Lewis will receive a monetary award and a plaque commemorating his accomplishment.
Sunco Carriers, based in Lakeland, Fla., is a 100 percent owner-operator carrier that provides regional refrigerated service.
