J.J. Keller & Associates recently hired Derick Schmidt as a regional account executive serving the U.S. Midwest region. Schmidt, based in West Chicago, Ill., is responsible for identifying and consulting with prospective customers on J.J. Keller’s Driver Management Online service, outsource services and consulting services. He will be involved throughout the customer development process, from initial contact through contract negotiation and transition to Keller’s client service staff.
“Derick is a welcome addition to the services sales group,” says Chad Govin, senior manager of services and sales for Neenah, Wis.-based J.J. Keller. “His extensive experience will strengthen our presence in the field and give us an opportunity to better serve the market in this region.”
Schmidt’s 11-year sales career in the business-to-business environment has included a variety of inside and field sales positions in the transportation, technology and paper industries.
