Wallwork Kenworth has opened a new parts facility in Fergus Falls, Minn., to provide regional customers with a more convenient location, greater parts selection and faster response time on parts orders. A member of Kenworth’s dealer network of nearly 300 U.S. and Canadian locations, Wallwork Kenworth – Fergus Falls operates a 3,200-square-foot facility with a large parts inventory to help meet customer needs. The facility offers same-day parts delivery service Monday through Friday to customers within a 30-mile radius.
“Before Wallwork Kenworth opened the Fergus Falls facility, customers sometimes waited one or two days to get their parts, depending on whether our main dealership in Fargo had them in stock,” says Mike Lausch, Wallwork Kenworth general manager. “Now, customers in the Fergus Falls area get their parts faster. Customers appreciate that rapid turnaround because their trucks can be repaired or serviced more quickly. They can get out of the shop and back on the road in hours, not days.”
Wallwork Kenworth – Fergus Falls focuses mainly on the needs of agriculture and construction, the two largest industries in the Fergus Falls area, Lausch said. The facility provides parts to the service shops of several key companies, including a potato and grain hauler, sand and gravel operation, and a local trucking fleet, in addition to independent repair shops. The store carries a wide selection of parts for trucks of most makes and models, particularly for Wallwork Kenworth’s best-seller, the Kenworth W900 72-inch AeroCab Aerodyne.
