The American Transportation Research Institute, along with the Transportation Research Board, has released a survey that will gather information on the development of a safety culture within motor carrier companies and seek carrier views on the value of safety certification programs.

The first of these topics will focus on overall company attitudes and practices regarding safety and the safety benefits that result from such practices. The second topic relates to experience with safety certification programs. The final product resulting from this research will be a best practices guide to assist in the development of a strong culture of safety.

The survey can be found here. For more information, contact Jeff Short at (770) 432-0628 or [email protected].
