CFI names Tewari VP/sales-domestic

CFI announced that Martin Tewari has been named vice president of sales-domestic, responsible for all of the CFI sales force across the United States and Canada. Tewari had served as director of sales for CFI from 1996 to 1999. He has 19 years of experience in the transportation industry and most recently held the position of vice president of sales for Roehl Transportation. Prior to joining CFI in 1996, he gained experience in the industry with M.S. Carriers.

CFI, a privately held international truckload carrier based in Joplin, Mo., operates about 2,400 tractors and more than 7,000 trailers, and transports a variety of goods throughout the contiguous United States and Canada. CFI interlines with Mexican carriers at various border crossings to provide through-trailer service to Mexico.
