Tripmaster Corp. has announced that Chris Hines, an industry leader and 22-year transportation veteran, has joined the company as president and chief operating officer.

Hines is past president of GE Capital’s TIP division, now GE Fleet Services. He also has held senior positions with Terion, a provider of trailer tracking technology, and Pegasus Transtech, a provider of imaging-based business process and workflow solutions. Hines spent the last two years as president and chief executive officer of Atipical Holdings, a business focused on asset management, equipment finance and backroom productivity solutions.

“Adding a leader with Chris’ experience and vision prior to the launch of our Internet-based TM Online product is another win for Tripmaster – one that’s consistent with the aggressive new strategies we have initiated since our merger with Control Instruments Group in March of this year,” says Richard Geib, chief executive officer of Arlington, Texas-based Tripmaster.
