Kinedyne says its Saf-T Binder is designed to reduce personal injuries and broken chains. The new chain binder features a shortened “T” handle that gives drivers a firmer grip for securing cargo, allowing them to achieve the proper tension by hand without the use of “cheater” bars for greater leverage, according to the company; this potentially dangerous and costly practice can result in tensioning chain beyond its working load limit.
