Mobil Delvac will showcase its next generation of heavy-duty engine oils at the Great American Trucking Show, Aug. 24-26, at the Dallas Convention Center. The backwards-compatible product line is designed to meet or exceed API CJ-4 requirements in response to the 2007 emissions specifications mandated by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency.
The lineup, according to Mobil Delvac, includes:
A newly reformulated Mobil Delvac 1300 Super (15W-40): Coming in October 2006, and with more than 7 million miles of on-highway testing using both low-sulfur and ultra-low-sulfur diesel fuels in both new and pre-2007 engines, Mobil Delvac’s “Million Mile Oil” will exceed API CJ-4 requirements for soot-viscosity control, wear performance, deposit control and oil consumption control, enabling users to maintain the same drain intervals.
