In a move to expand customer and dealer support, Mack Trucks Inc. has added a new parts distribution center in Jacksonville, Fla. The new location joins existing facilities in Chicago, Dallas, Baltimore, Memphis, Tenn., Reno, Nev., and Toronto.
About $2 million was invested in the 170,000-square-foot Jacksonville center, which stocks about 23,500 parts and is expected to fill more than 565,000 order lines annually. The center is expected to primarily serve dealers in Florida, Georgia, South Carolina and parts of Alabama.
