J.B. Hunt Transport Services announced Tuesday, Aug. 29, that it has elected Gary Charles George to its board of directors, filling the seat left vacant by the death of Thomas L. Hardeman.
George, 56, is vice chairman and chief executive officer of George’s Inc., a private, fully-integrated poultry company in northwest Arkansas. He is also chairman of the board for Legacy National Bank and sits on the board of directors for the National Chicken Council.
J.B. Hunt is based in Lowell, Ark.
