The Tire Retread Information Bureau has a new “Retread Plant Tour CD” available to all truckers and others who would like to learn how truck tires are retreaded in a modern, state-of-the-art, ISO-certified retread plant.
TRIB says the virtual tour highlights all steps of the retread process from the initial inspection through the final approval, after which the tire is ready for another full life. The CD was produced in a modern pre-cure retread plant, and single copies are available at no cost; there is a nominal charge for multiple copies.
