Ryder System has announced it has partnered with CMT as the preferred alternative truck solution for the entire 24-episode season of the hit truck makeover series, “Trick My Truck.” Ryder will provide reliable replacement trucks to minimize downtime for the selected drivers while the Chrome Shop Mafia, the show’s team of mechanics, customizes their ailing trucks.

“The reliability and availability of Ryder’s extensive truck fleet made them an ideal fit for this show,” says Melanie Moreau, executive producer for CMT. “These truck makeovers can take anywhere from three to six weeks to complete. Thanks to Ryder, these owner-operators will have a dependable truck that will keep them on the road, taking care of business.”

Following a successful first season, “Trick My Truck” will begin its extended, 24-episode second season tonight, Sept. 1, on CMT. During the show, the Chrome Shop Mafia takes the rigs of 24 chosen truck drivers and customizes them, turning the drivers’ dreams into reality. Ryder will provide each driver with a replacement truck until the makeover is complete. The replacement trucks give these drivers an opportunity to keep their businesses afloat, earn a living and support their families.

” ‘Trick My Truck’ is helping deserving truck drivers and giving the trucking industry a positive image,” says Todd Renehan, executive vice president of sales and marketing of fleet management solutions for Ryder. “Ryder is proud to partner with CMT in making a difference in the lives of professional truck drivers, whose success depends on reliable vehicles to keep their businesses running.”
