Schaeffer names Hamilton national fuel additive sales manager

Schaeffer Manufacturing — a St. Louis-based manufacturer of oils, greases and fuel additives — recently announced that Phil Hamilton was promoted to national fuel additive sales manager. Hamilton has been with Schaeffer since 1997, where he worked in sales and marketing. He was instrumental in developing the company’s racing program, retail marketing program and Triple 7 Oil Change program.

According to the company, Hamilton’s expertise in chemistry, experience with the effects of ultra-low-sulfur diesel and in-depth knowledge of Schaeffer products made him the ideal candidate for the position. Recent mandates by the Environmental Protection Agency on fuel further solidified the importance of having a knowledgeable individual available to help customers through another round of ULSD standards, the company said.
