CTL Distribution partners with Premier Driving Academy

CTL Distribution, a Mulberry, Fla.-based national tank truck carrier, recently formed a partnership with Premier Driving Academy in Theodore, Ala., to begin training student drivers pursuing their Class A commercial driver’s license and employment with CTL.

With this partnership, CTL will qualify student drivers for employment prior to enrolling the student driver in Premier’s Class A training class. Under this partnership, CTL sponsors the student driver and pays for their training with a commitment from the student to become employed with CTL as a safe driver for one year.

“Our partnership with Premier gives us the opportunity to package great training and professional driving careers to those pursuing a career in the transportation industry,” says Ken Wieck, CTL’s director of human resources and driver recruiting. “This partnership will have a great impact on our capacity development needs in the Mobile, Alabama area.”
