United Sugars Corp. has awarded Dart Transit with its 2006 National Dry Van Carrier of the Year Award. The award was presented at the carrier’s recent annual conference in Fargo, N.D., on Aug. 30.
Dart also recently recognized two drivers for its June 2006 Contractor of the Month Award. Post Witt of the Dallas Operating Center received the award for the second time since he started with the company five years ago. Walt Bray of the Eagan Operating Center also was named Contractor of the Month; he has been with Dart since 1989 and has received several safety awards, including the National Safety Council’s Two Million Mile Award.
Both Witt and Bray were recognized for their on-time performance, dependability and safety record. They will receive certificates and gifts from Dart’s “Pro Shop,” and will be eligible for the Contractor of the Year Award.
