Fleet One, a Nashville, Tenn.-based provider of financial service solutions to companies with fleets of vehicles and the merchants that serve them, recently announced new hires and promotions for its sales force.

  • Joanne Boden joined the company as director of sales for Fleet One Local for the Northeast. With more than 30 years of sales and sales management experience, Boden most recently was a sales and business development manager for Avon in Philadelphia. Prior to that, she worked in sales and management at Mobil Oil and ExxonMobil Fuels Marketing as part of their commercial card sales team. “Joanne’s professional background and sales expertise will certainly add to our presence and growth in the Northeast as a leading provider of fuel cards,” says Michael Thompson, Fleet One’s senior vice president of sales and marketing.
  • Jim Pivo recently was promoted to manager of inside sales for the over-the-road sales force, where he now is responsible for directing and managing salespeople in calling on OTR fleets throughout the country to provide solutions with Fleet One products. Pivo joined the company in early 2005 as an account executive. Prior to that, he held positions with Milwaukee Electric Tool and Black & Decker. “We are impressed with Jim’s progress and look forward to his continued success in this new role,” says Dave Rewers, Fleet One’s vice president of sales.
  • Also promoted is Suzanne Solinger, who is now call center manager. Solinger will provide all direct management to the Fleet One call center organization, which has experienced significant growth in recent months. Joining Fleet One in 1996 as a customer service representative, Solinger is a two-time winner of the Fleet One Vision Award. “Suzanne’s growing knowledge of the company and the industry, combined with her leadership skills, continue to be a tremendous asset to the company,” says Pat Bryant, Fleet One’s operations manager.
