Penske picks Chevron’s Delo as lubricant of choice

Penske Truck Leasing has selected Chevron Products Co. as the sole lubricant supplier for its North American fleet of more than 200,000 Class 6-8 trucks. Penske, headquartered in Reading, Pa., will use products within the Chevron Delo family, including the flagship Delo 400 Multigrade SAE 15W-40 engine oil.

Under the agreement, Chevron will provide Delo lubricants, solutions and market knowledge to more than 700 Penske Truck Leasing locations across North America.

Nathan Meisgeier, president of Omaha, Nebraska-based Werner Enterprises, said his carrier is committing to hire 1,400 veterans over the coming year as part of the Freedom Haulers initiative.
