Parker says its Composite Push-To-Connect Air Brake Fittings offer fast, easy assembly and tight tolerances to ensure resistance to contamination and optimal performance. The body is made from a strong, lightweight and impact-resistant composite material, with a brass shoulder on the collet for increased side load capabilities, a stainless-steel retained collar for burst strength at high temperatures, and a staked-in tube support to make proper assembly easy, according to the company.
All threads feature a substantial hex to facilitate wrenching. The fittings are available in 1/4-, 3/8-, 1/2-, 5/8- and 3/4-inch tube sizes, and come in a full range of configurations, including elbows, tees, straight and special-order jump sizes. The fittings are rated for vacuum to 250 PSI, with a working temperature range from -40 to +200 degrees Fahrenheit, and are designed for use with SAE J844 air brake tubing.
