Trimac USA has joined the American Trucking Associations in a move to support ATA initiatives on current and pending legislative issues.

“Compelling industry issues require motor carriers to work together,” says Jeff McCaig, Trimac USA president and chief executive officer. “Upcoming highway reauthorization, skyrocketing insurance and turning America’s freeways into tollways are a few examples of why the trucking industry needs to speak with a clear and effective voice. It’s time for the industry, including Trimac, to participate in the process through our largest industry organization.”

ATA President Bill Graves says Trimac’s membership was important to the association and acknowledged the company as an industry leader and innovator. “We welcome their decision to join the ranks of trucking leaders as we address the many challenges facing our industry and are pleased to have Trimac as part of the ATA family,” Graves says.
